Today we went to Applecross. Today we crossed some of the most magical places Scotland has to offer. Today our 4×4 proved its worth. Today our drone pilot fought treacherous winds to take beautiful shots. Today was a good day.
After a long night of successful experiments and significant progress in our venture, we drove north. We wanted to get away from touristic spots and see a wilder Scotland. We witnessed breath-taking landscapes across the mountains until we reached the coast. We arrived at Applecross to collect the last set of samples and had a wee lunch that included haggis, duck, scallops, monkfish, langoustines, hot chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. Unfortunately, we had to go back. We went by snow walls over three meters tall, came across frozen lochs, saw deer on several occasions and drove over 6 hours before coming back to our base camp at Glen Nevis. Now we are cooking dinner, setting up the last experiments and checking the footage. We go back to Edinburgh tomorrow. Today was a good day.
As a small preview of what Hunting MicroMonsters will be, we are showing pictures and footage taken with the drone! AdO
